EMDR Therapy
Whether it was something that happened a long time ago or something more recent, traumatic events can impact all areas of life. From sleep and work to relationships and overall well-being, the effects can be profound, leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, or disconnection. I'm here to help you navigate these challenges.
I’m trained in EMDR therapy, which is an evidence-based treatment for trauma. EMDR helps individuals to process distressing memories and reduce their emotional charge, allowing for a more adaptive and integrated response to past experiences. Together we can work to identify and process the root causes of your distress, enabling you to move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
If you’re ready to take this step, I’m here to support you on your journey towards healing and wholeness. I offer EMDR therapy in NYC, Brooklyn, and virtually to anyone located in New York state.

Somatic EMDR Therapy
I offer somatic EMDR therapy in NYC, Brooklyn, and virtually for anyone living in the state of New York.
Somatic therapy involves bringing our attention to the sensations in our bodies. These bodily sensations can be tied to past traumatic events or they can physical manifestations of emotional distress. By incorporating that awareness into our therapeutic work together, we will be able to create a deeper connection between the mind and body which will allows us to uncover and process unhealed wounds.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, or the lingering effects of trauma, somatic EMDR therapy can help to release pent-up emotions and facilitate healing.

In individual EMDR therapy, we work one-on-one to build your inner resources and to process past traumas or recent distressing incidents. Our work begins with a thorough history taking to ensure that the EMDR is appropriately modified to best support you and your healing.
